Month in review December 2017

In the words of one of my favorite bands (The Counting Crows) “It’s been a long December and there’s reason to believe that maybe this year will be better than the last.”  With that said, 2017 has actually been a very good year for me running wise but I have some big things planned for 2018 so I’m eager to see it unfold.   December can be a difficult month for running if you live in the Midwest but everything went off without a major hitch.  My running streak is still intact and I’m feeling stronger than when I started it.  The last few days have been cold which has limited the amount of miles that I have been logging.  30 minutes is more than enough when it’s 9 degrees out with a strong wind.  I’m ready for it to warm back up.

Here are my stats from December:

31/31 Days ran-  My steak is at 58.

111.55 total miles for the month.

3.6 average miles ran each day.

3 Long Runs

1 Half Marathon (The Santa Hustle)

2 Trail runs

4 Speed workouts

21 Normal/ Easy Days

Thanks for reading and Happy Running!!
